ict English letter patterns
Hi! How are you, my dear friends?
I am _____ from Nan Jung Junior High School, Taiwan.
This is my first time to write a letter in English, so I feel a little nervous.
But, I’m really happy to let you know that there is someone far away from you would like to talk to you something about my school!
We don’t have many chances to speak English,
We must do our best to learn English.
We realize that the language is very important.
There is an English village in our campus.
Teachers there in the village really give us a lot of help.
Things there in the village are very amazing.
We have a small airport.
We learn what an airport is in the village.
I have never been in an arrival lounge,
I know nothing about the check-in counter, nor a departure lounge until I enter the imitation of the airport.
Teachers would introduce everything in English, and say,” This is the arrival lounge,” or “There! The check-in counters are over there!”
We learn How to buy things in a shopping center. (at the clothing store, the fruit stand, coffee shop, café, or even in the bank, etc..)
Such as, “How much does that shirt cost?” “That’s very expensive.” “Do you have anything cheaper?”
Or “I’ll take it. ”
